Adult performer Dick Delaware will end his brief retirement from professional mixed martial arts this Saturday when he will meet Todd Medina in the co-main event of King of the Cage at Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, Calif.
Delaware, aka Aaron Brink, last fought on Dec. 2 at the same venue in KOTC, where he lost his fourth straight fight, this time via a first-round knockout.
Afterward, he said he was retiring from the sport after eight years and over 40 contests.
Now the 31-year-old native of Huntington Beach says he has the fire back again.
“I decided I didn’t want to go out like that,” Brink said Tuesday. “I’m fighting to get my career back on track.”
Medina, who runs his own jiu jitsu school in Costa Mesa, is a UFC and Pride Fighting Championship veteran with over two dozen pro fights on his resume.

“He is well versed in the sport, but he eats punches a lot,” said the 6-foot-3 Brink, who will fight at 205 pounds. “I used to train at his gym. I don’t know why he took the fight. I think he took the word of [one of the promoters] who said that I’m not the fighter I once was. He took the fight based on rumors that I’m out of shape.”
Medina, who is 35, fought in UFC 5 in 1995 (UFC 59 is April 15). Brink, who has a 25-17-1 record, competed at UFC 28 in November of 2000.
Now a resident of Oceanside, Brink recently performed in a scene for director Rick Davis and Cherry Boxxx. He has appeared in over 500 sex scenes since 2003. While he would not divulge details about his training for the bout, he did say, “I’ve been tanning really hard. People say I’ve got the best tan in mixed martial arts.”
The King of the Cage event this week was rescheduled from last week, when rain forced its postponement. Brink said he was also tentatively scheduled to fight April 2 in the next King of Cage show at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino in Fresno, Calif.
