Defiance Films is currently developing a film project known as Runway. The sex-meets-style feature will spotlight a cast of beautiful starlets dressed-up for their scenes in a variety of sexy apparel from the likes of Prada, Gucci and Ralph Lauren.
Talent clothed in provocative attire is hardly new to adult filmmaking, but the inspiration for Runway is to emphasize notable labels, and therefore their ubiquitous and famous designers, that are regularly seen sashaying down fashion runways from Milan to Paris.
Essentially the trendy wardrobe will add another dimension, albeit a stylish one, to the story and subsequently the girls frolicking in front of the camera.
“It’s going to be a big statement project for me,” Norman Bentley of Defiance Films told AVN.com. “I’m bringing in a lot of old friends from the mainstream days to really add something special to the project in terms of set design and cinematography.”
The story is set during Fashion Week in Los Angeles and follows the wild hi-jinks of a raucous cast of socialites, designers, models, photographers and party girls.
“It’ll be very hot to see a pretty girl wearing Prada and then she rips off her clothes and starts having sex,” said Bentley. “We want to make it real glossy, like if all of a sudden the pages of Vogue turned into a porn movie.”
While the project ramps up Bentley is seeking potential girls to star in the feature. There will be added emphasis on the wardrobe for this particular project so Bentley wants to make sure his cast is able to dazzle in trendy attire.
“We’ll be fitting the girls from top to bottom and making sure we match the right outfit to the right girl – from the shoes to the panties to the jewelry and everything else,” said Bentley. “We’re coming at this like we’re designers booking and fitting models for a runway show – only this time after their finished walking the catwalk they’ll be having wild sex.”
Shooting is expected to commence at the end of August.
