Defiance Films is reporting “overwhelming” response to Justine’s Red Letters, the first volume of its new “Letters” line based on actual email to porn stars from fans, which ships tomorrow.
Hosted by red-haired siren Justine Joli and directed by Shy Love and Eric Hunter, it gives consumers an opportunity to become involved in the making of the porn they watch, with input into storyline and casting.
Defiance said in a statement that “since announcing our ‘Letters’ series was open for fans to email us their fantasies and ideas, we’re received over 1,000 emails, letters and phone calls from fans, all hoping to have their fantasy chosen for an upcoming title. It’s interesting to get a peak inside the ‘dirty little minds’ of the fans—and it’s incredible that 40% of the submissions have been from women.”
Also featured in Justine’s Red Letters are Jassie (girl-girl scene with Joli), Katie Morgan, Tory Lain, Vanessa Lain, Taryn, Melissa Lauren, Scott Nails, Barrett Blade, Talon and Alex Sanders.
The next “Letters” title to be shot will be Taylor Rain’s Barely Legal Letters, followed by Lauren Phoenix’s Ass Letters. Other upcoming titles are Paola Rey’s Latina Letters, Bobbi Blair’s Lesbian Letters and Aurora Snow’s Naughty Letters.
Each fan whose letter is chosen receives a copy of the title, autographed by the host and the performers who acted out the writers’ fantasy. Winning writers also get either a personal phone call or email from the host to let them know their letter has been chosen. There are five winners for each movie.
Defiance plans to fly one winner, chosen by the host and director of each movie, to California to watch the movie being made, with the opportunity to appear on camera while the host reads his or her letter.
