Former Overture Services project management chief Darren Davis has been named Flynt Digital vice president of sales and marketing, with Fine Line Entertainment founder Harvey K being named Flynt Digital's new affiliate marketing manager, FlyntDigital announced September 10.
Davis will oversee the company's affiliate program, manage Hustler Content sales, and head the company's marketing, public relations, and tradeshow operations, Flynt Digital said.
"I'm confident that the combination of our established brand names, our incredible team and my diverse base of experience will allow Flynt Digital to create some new, innovative programs for our webmasters," Davis said in a statement. "I look forward to the challenges of taking Flynt Digital to a new level of success."
Davis's career has also included a stint as Internet automotive marketer Autobytel.com's director of marketing. He said his first job in his new Flynt Digital role would include what the company called outside-the-box upgrades and new additions to the affiliate program.
"I have a lot of ideas, but I'm not at liberty to discuss them yet," he said when reached by AVN.com. "They're still very much in the works. There's a few things that we'll put out that (are) going to make some evolutionary steps. FlyntDigital has a well-pronounced product today, and we want to take it to the next level.
"Everything we're doing absolutely focuses on helping Webmasters make more money doing what they love to do."
Harvey K most recently founded Fine Line Entertainment, a content production and Web development operation. He takes over the affiliate operation from Amber Fisher, who will continue working with the Flynt affiliate products, and will spend more time working on her own ToonErotica.com Website and personal projects, the company said.
Harvey K, too, is enthused about joining Flynt Digital. "Of all the affiliate programs I've seen come and go, Flynt Digital has stood the test of time," he said in his own statement.
