Version 3.0 of online dating software application DateApp has been released, featuring upload video capability, blind messenger support for America Online, ICQ, MSN, and Yahoo instant messaging, and eight languages.
“We were generally surprised to discover that our paid conversions, as a smaller dating network, compared equally with that of much larger adult dating sites," said DateApp chief executive John Michael Cataldi, announcing the new version.
"This proves that being able to create a completely niche site, fully white labeled down to the external emails between member communication, has fared well and gained great acceptance in the webmaster community," Cataldi added.
Other new DateApp consumer features now include a better consumer workflow, which DateApp puckishly calls "Dating for Dummies Proof"; couples and transvestite registrations; and a 2257 compliance statement.
For webmasters, new features include capability for creating niche demographics showing only the designated niche's profiles, pictures, and videos; controlling of drop-down gender and activity selections; advanced filter tabs to group sexual activities and geographical targeting; one interface to manage thousands of niche dating portals; custom template design with full team support; and, weekly setup and marketing classes given by DateApp leadership and well-known industry speakers.
"With over 1,000-plus hours of cumulative coding, DateApp’s team now sleeps until tomorrow," said vice president of technology Lee Markham at Version 3.0's release. "DateApp is a special place to work; we take great pride in our abilities to create the best application, or at the very least, the application that sucks the least that will make webmasters the highest conversions."
DateApp will also exhibit for the first time during August's Internext exhibition, offering a drawing for 100 percent payouts for six months for any existing portal partner registration prior to Internext.
