Danni.com, a men’s entertainment media company, has appointed Bill Rix to marketing manager and promoted former product manager Derek Devore to the position of director of Web products.
Prior to Danni, Rix served as sales and marketing manager for hardcore adult entertainment company Elegant Angel. He previously spent 18 years in the music industry, holding sales and marketing positions at Elektra Records/Warner Music Group, Skaggs Records, and independent record label KOCH.
In his new role at Danni, Rix will leverage his sales and marketing skills to help drive Danni’s marketing initiatives, manage events and public relations efforts, and handle talent coordination and merchandise marketing.
“Having spent my career in both the music and adult entertainment industries, I feel that it has provided me with a unique perspective that will certainly be advantageous when introducing Danni to more mainstream markets,” says Rix.
Devore previously served as webmaster and designer for Silkscreen Music, which specializes in providing music and sound design to multimillion-dollar Hollywood films including Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Traffic, and The Lion King. He served as product manager and webmaster at Danni for the past two years, during which time he successfully implemented a streamlined Video-on-Demand purchasing process that resulted in improving video streaming speeds by more than 70 percent.
In his new role, Devore will focus on new products and technologies in the VoD, mobile, and Web markets.
