Pinelake Productions may not sound familiar to many in Porn Valley, but Danish producer Marc Duvall says that will soon change as he moves to secure distribution deals for his newly-founded company’s first releases.
“We’ve closed a lot of deals with distributors in Europe, but we’re still trying to close deals in the United States so we can distribute our movies,” said the Denmark-based Duvall, who also directs his videos.
Having produced just a handful of movies, Duvall and his financial partners created Pinelake as an effort to create gonzo-style movies with feature production elements.
“We have nice intros that can get girls (who watch) interested, but it has hard action for the guys,” he said.
“It’s hard, but not too hard that it’s going to get banned in a lot of places.”
Last November, Duvall formed the company and agreed to produce six titles before even one cent rolled through the company’s door.
“We knew producing six titles of this quality and booking 30 girls and getting the best crews and spending 12 days on them was a big investment, but that was our strategy,” he said.
“We wanted to have enough material for distributors to look at and distribute.”
Although the company is still seeking a U.S. distribution deal, Duvall says one could come at any time.
The company shot its videos in Budapest, Hungary where production costs are low and the quality of talent is high, he said.
“These girls are all gorgeous and they do a great job,” he said.
“They come in on time, they take pictures, fuck a guy, they get paid and they leave.”
Among the newly-produced titles are Angel Skin, starring Hungarian beauty Mya Diamond and Veronika, who was featured in Michael Ninn’s Diamond Girl.
Other titles include Purity, How to Sin, Magic, Transparent 1: Evolution and Transparent 2: Perfection.
