ASACP announced Thursday that Cybercat Inc. has become a corporate sponsor of the organization. Cybercat provides advertising opportunities through banner ads, static links, and text links on TGPs, including The Hun.com and Sleazydream.com.
“CyberCat Inc. is proud to be a sponsor of ASACP. Their dedication in the battle against child pornography goes hand in hand with the industry’s stringent self-regulatory practice,” says Mark Galione, president and chief executive of CyberCat Inc.
“I have spoken with Mark Galione at many of the industry tradeshows, and he was always very supportive of ASACP and its work,” says Joan Irvine, executive director of ASACP. “But we needed to wait until ASACP had established Best Practices for TGPs before we could discuss CyberCat becoming a sponsor. Once this was accomplished, Mark quickly became a sponsor. ASACP is thankful to Mark, since it depends on the financial support of companies like CyberCat to fund its operations, including the development of its technical systems.”
ASACP is the organization that helps the adult Internet industry make a difference in the battle against child pornography. In addition to its hotline, ASACP provides a self-regulatory vehicle for its members through a code of ethics that promotes the protection of children through responsible, professional business practices.
