New adult production house Corrupted Pictures, a subsidiary of New Machine Publishing, has purchased NJ Films' catalog and brand. Corrupted Pictures will be producing new, high-quality ethnic NJ Films titles and will be the exclusive provider of NJ Films' catalog, including the AVN award-winning series Coxxx & Soxxx, and several of AVN Hall of Fame director Alex DeRenzy's last films. Those DeRenzy films include the classics Slave to Love and Two Women.
New Machine Publishing President Mark Brown remarked, “With the launch of Corrupted Pictures and now the acquisition of NJ Films, New Machine Publishing is geared up for an aggressive fourth quarter launch that is ensured to position our companies for great things in the coming year.”
NJ FILMS co-founder John Knowles said, "Corrupted Pictures came along at the right time and made a great offer which allows me to pursue another great opportunity that has come up for me beyond the adult business.”
Corrupted Pictures head of production Heidi Joy Pike added, "NJ made such good, non-exploitive ethnic product. It will be an honor to continue that tradition with our new productions."
Director Dick Logan will continue to direct future NJ FILMS productions, and Vanessa Blue, who directed the AVN-award-winning Black Reign series, will be coming on board to direct NJ ethnic projects as well.
"I am really looking forward to working with Heidi and Corrupted. We're going to make excellent ethnic product together and I can't wait to direct my first NJ release," Blue said.
Corrupted Pictures' first release, Corrupted by Justine Joli, will be in stores soon. For sales, contact David Gross by email at [email protected].
