ContentBlowout Marketing Suicide Girls Content

Some of the photo sets of alt-porn mega-site Suicide Girls are for sale, though not by the Suicide Girls themselves.

Jonathan Silverstein is marketing the sets, obtained by Content Pinup, at ContentBlowout.com. In all there are 94 sets featuring 20 Suicide Girls for sale at the blowout price of $500 for all 19,000 images.

Suicide Girls has guarded its brand closely over the years, so understandably there have been a few questions surrounding the sale of the photos, which were obtained by Content Pinup through a third party. Suicide Girls attorney Paul Loving acknowledged in a letter to Content Pinup, “while your access to Suicide Girls content was never intended or contemplated, Suicide Girls acknowledges that Content Pinup has demonstrated that it lawfully obtained the rights to license to third parties a collection of images of Suicide Girls for display on the Internet.”

The letter goes on to say, “…that although Content Pinup has legally obtained the rights to license images of Suicide Girls from a third party, Suicide Girls does not support or endorse your activities…”

Suicide Girls representatives did not return several requests for comment.

Silverstein, meanwhile, is enjoying the attention the controversy has brought him.

“It’s not like Paris Hilton or Pamela Anderson’s sex tape or the Cameron Diaz nude photos, but a little controversy has gone a little ways already,” he says.
