NEW YORK CITY—CineKink, "the kinky film festival," kicks off its annual festival tour in Oakland on Friday, August 10, at 9:30 PM, screening films that celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality.
Screening at The New Parkway (474 24th Street, Oakland), "Best of CineKink/2018” is a collection of sexy shorts deemed the best during CineKink's most recent festival run. This year's assortment, with works ranging from mildly spicy to quite explicit, includes a love story about bondage and books, a documentary remembrance of a once-legendary gay beach, and a laugh-filled romp with adult performers Tommy Pistol and Ingrid Mouth. The line-up features Sock Puppet (Magnus Sullivan), Asian Man, White Woman (Woody Fu), Don’t Call Me (Olympia De G.), Cruising Elsewhere (Ryan White), F*ck Yes: Threesome (Jessica King),Yes Campaign (Ms. Naughty), Library Hours (Jim Vendiola), Queen Kong (Monica Strambini) and Writer’s Block (Shine Louise Houston). The screening will be followed by a short discussion with attending filmmakers.
