Chick Media will begin production of the first episode in a new series entitled MySexTherapist.com. The female-friendly adult feature is a blend of fantasy and reality and will find its home on the Web at Chick Media's interactive website, MySexTherapist.com.
Chick Media (CMI) is a broad-based multimedia corporation with the mission of providing high-quality erotic programming for women. With changing social and cultural attitudes, women currently represent the fastest-growing single sector of the market with a growing demand for informative, quality programming.
Chick Media was created by adult director and producer Kelly Holland (also known as Toni English). For more than 10 years, Holland has written, produced, and directed high-end erotica. With more than 300 films to her credit, Holland has become the most prolific woman director in the history of adult, first under an exclusive contract with Vivid Video and more recently with Wicked Pictures, Adam & Eve, and Penthouse. Holland's 22-volume feature series Naked Hollywood, produced for Adam & Eve Pictures, won the AVN Best Video Series award.
Holland recently headed up production for Playgirl TV, creating what has become "the look" of PGTV. She has acted as the company's national spokesperson, representing the idea of "women's erotica" in a wide variety of outlets including ABC's 20/20, MSNBC, Elle magazine, and The New York Times.
"Chick Media will target the women's market, an area which has been overlooked by adult producers and distributors who have failed to provide products that are tailored to the tastes and sexual sensibilities of women," says Holland.
Holland has partnered with Donald Guarnieri, who brings more than 10 years of experience in production and was recently director of business development and executive in charge of production for Penthouse Media.
Shooting of “MySexTherapist.com” will take place around Los Angeles Oct. 26 and Oct. 27. The film will feature adult film actresses Alexis Malone, Lola, Chanel Chavez, Sahara Knight, and Azalea and male talent Marcos Leon, Ross Severance, Tyler Knight, Randy Spears, Kris Knight, and Jack Venice.
"At Chick Media we put as much time and energy into casting our actors as we do our actresses,” says Holland. “For me, chemistry is everything. That's what we're looking for, and that's what our viewers want to see."
The MySexTherapist.com series is one of four lines Chick Media will launch. Others include TheGood Girl's Guide to Great Sex, Raw (an up-close, revealing series that profiles some of the hottest men in adult), and What Every Woman Wants (a high-end vignette series). All productions will be shot in high-definition format.
