Chi Chi LaRue and her Rascal Video production company will sponsor April's Thursday night "Cocktails with the Stars" weekly gay adult event at Club Micky's in West Hollywood, beginning April 1 at 6-8:30 p.m. PST.
The April 1 show will feature Johnny Hazzard promoting Live & Raw, the new hardcover book based on the Internet site of the same name and featuring Hazzard on the cover. Fellow Rascal exclusive Theo Blake will join him.
"I feel like it's the scene out of 'Hello, Dolly!'" said laughing host Jason Sechrest, who noted LaRue and company had been absent from the "Cocktails" since he became the host almost two years ago. LaRue herself will hit the stage April 8.
"I'm really honored that Rascal is sponsoring the show this month and I'm really excited about having a lot of guests who have never graced the 'Cocktails' stage before. I'm especially excited about Chi Chi's night on April 8th and I'm hoping to pull a James Lipton on her, so feel free to contact me with your most hysterical Chi Chi stories or questions I should specifically ask her at [email protected]."
Copies of Live & Raw and Hazzard's latest film, What Men Do will be raffled all night April 1, with both stars meeting, greeting, and signing for fans when not getting put on the griddle by Sechrest on stage.
LaRue's April 8 "Cocktails" will be followed by new Rascal exclusive Brandon Lee April 15, former Micky's go-go boy and Rascal exclusive Eddie Stone April 22 (promoting and giving away copies of his new Stone Fox), and all the boys of Live and Raw Hotel April 29, including Rocky, Johnny Law, and Bastian, among others.
Micky's is on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, never a cover charge for "Cocktails with the Stars." For more information, contact (323) 650-1952.
