Chi Chi LaRue to Speak at Johns Hopkins on Saturday

Award-winning XXX-film director Chi Chi LaRue has been invited to speak at Baltimore, Maryland's, Johns Hopkins University on April 8, GAYVN learned today.

LaRue is one of several speakers who will participate in the school's Diverse Sexuality and Gender Alliance (DSAGA)-sponsored "Awareness Days." Other speakers include George Takei, Wayne Besen, Faisal Alam, and Donna Rose.

The Awareness Days program began in 1992 and developed from one week of events into a month-long series. The program works to increase awareness and promote discussion of issues that affect the LGBT and allied straight communities through educational speakers and events.

LaRue will be speaking this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The venue is the Glass Pavilion of the Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus. The event is free and open to the public.
