Chelsea Poe ‘Reclaims,’ Will Re-Release a Decade of Content

SAN FRANCISCO—Award-winning Dutch-American trans filmmaker and performer Chelsea Poe has announced that the first decade of her catalog, spanning 2013–2023, will be re-released throughout 2026 under her own banner, Chelsea Poe Productions, as part of what she called her “reclamation era.”

“After months of sleepless nights, writing and re-writing on pleading paper and sending countless emails, I finally have confirmation that my work is mine,” Poe said. “No more confusion. No more question marks about who owns what I built.”

The newly reclaimed, curated catalog will roll out on major VOD platforms HotMovies and Adult Empire, giving viewers “a chance to re-engage with the work that defined Poe’s first 10 years as one of queer porn’s most visible independent voices.”

Poe described the catalog re-release as both a business move and a deeply personal milestone. “This has been the defining battle of my career. I am so grateful for everyone who carried me through it, the sex workers who have been in my DMs holding me up, the legends I grew up idolizing who shared their own industry war stories, my friends for showing up in ways I never could have imagined, my partner for being there through every high and low, and my fans for supporting ‘Reclaimed: Long Live Queer Porn’ and helping me reclaim my art creatively in real time.”

The 2026 re-release campaign will highlight how Poe’s productions “have helped shape conversations around trans visibility, DIY porn and ethical, artist-led production, positioning the catalog as both a historical document of an era in queer porn and a foundation for Poe’s next chapter as a fully independent studio owner,” she added.

“Throughout 2026, you’ll start to see my films re-released through Chelsea Poe Productions on HotMovies and Adult Empire,” Poe said. “From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who stood by my side, in public and behind closed doors. I would not have made it to this moment without my community.”

The re-release will be promoted alongside Poe’s ongoing “Reclaimed: Long Live Queer Porn” project released last month and future original productions under the Chelsea Poe Productions label.

“Long Live Queer Porn,” Poe said. “This is about making sure our history and our labor stays with the people who actually created it.”
