SAN FRANCISCO—Chelsea Poe Productions has officially re-released the Fetish Fckdoll series through the Chelsea Poe Productions studio pages on HotMovies and Adult Empire, “bringing one of trans porn's defining BDSM projects back under her own production banner,” a representative said.
The Fetish Fckdoll series “earned major industry recognition during its original run, including AVN Award nominations for Best BDSM Movie and Best Trans Movie. The series became a landmark project in Poe and Stefani Special's careers and helped expand the visibility of trans women in BDSM and submissive roles within adult industry awards categories,” the rep added.
“I’m so proud of this series and the impact it had on the next generation of trans performers,” said Poe. “I got thrown into a massive BDSM company when I moved to California in my early 20s and was told by the higher-ups that ‘trans women can’t be subs and can only be Dommes.’ At the time, I was shooting for Mile High with Nica Noelle, and I took every cent I earned on those sets and put it into this series to create a place for trans women to submit like any other woman in this industry.”
Poe continued, “I’m so thankful the industry responded to this series by putting trans women in BDSM categories at awards over the last decade, which truly was my dream. I want to say to any performer who is told no by a company or a producer: you can make the content you want to see in the world, but you might have to do it on your own with your friends and community.”
The re-release also highlights the collaborative roots of the trilogy, including the creative partnership between Poe and performer Stefani Special, who reflected on the cultural and personal urgency behind the project.
“I think Chelsea and I, both a few years into our biz careers and being new friends, shared these super bummer feelings realizing there wasn’t much space for trans women BDSM submissives who were into heavy bondage, impact play, softer CNC roleplay or strap-on,” Special said. “That was still very much virginal in trans content at the time. It might not have been fun for every mainstream viewer or model, but it was so fucking thrilling to us.
“With pleasure and adoringly continuing the efforts of the ones before us, we fucking made it happen in our own ways and then mashed all of our hot potatoes together,” Special continued. “The trilogy came out of us just being kinky queers and collaborating with our lovers and direct community. It’s crazy, but being perpetually leashed and lashed by relationships with Dominas and daddies at the time, this series really felt visceral to me. It felt like something more than making fire porn—closer to clawing space for queer kinksters to create and for our audiences to expand.”
The Fetish Fckdoll re-release is part of Chelsea Poe Productions’ broader campaign to "reclaim, restore and reintroduce key works from her career through her independent studio."
