LOS ANGELES—Ophelia Fae is a sweetheart. Her first day in the adult industry was February 14, 2024. Her road to the industry is quite the adventure.
She was born and raised in Southern California and had a successful career in sales and marketing. She says she was in “full girl boss mode. Worked my way up the corporate ladder, existentially miserable the entire time.” However, the adult industry was always in her sights. “I’ve always been pulled to it. I watched all the documentaries and listened to podcasts. I did everything right on paper because you’re not supposed to have ‘being a porn star’ as your dream job,” she laughs, and honestly blushes a little.
Then, the usual happened. “Got laid off from my most recent corporate job,” she says. With free time on her hands, she reflected on her life and a possible career change. “I kind of dipped my toe into the adult world by making an Instagram account to start selling my art modeling photos.” She figured, “they’re just wasting away on my computer. I was scouted early on by some people, and that basically got me invited to a party hosted by Holly Randall.”
With that choice in front of her, she knew what the next step would mean. “I knew that going to that party would mean that I would be a performer for the rest of my life, because that was too good an opportunity to say no to. I would be on the red carpet as a porn star, regardless of whether I even shot anything ever,” she says.

As pictures were taken on this new talent night, when Ophelia posed, the chattering crowd went a little silent. She stood on one chunky-heeled foot, arched her back, grabbed her other foot from behind, and pulled that heel to the top of her head. She barely wavered. “I have Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos, a connective tissue disorder. I’m pretty transparent about it. Basically, I have really loose collagen. I won’t wrinkle, and I can do the splits without warming up,” She nods proudly. “I found a job where I’m able to really make the most of it.”
Ophelia plans to be a lifer in the adult world in a very specific area. “One thing that is really important to me is staying true to my lesbianism. I also want to be an authentic representation and true to who I am,” Ophelia says with a serious face. This is something that will not change in her career. “I want to do all the crazy porn star things, but exclusively with women with non-phallic straps. I’m trying to do all girls eventually down the line. I’m kind of the lesbian male talent,” she laughs.
