LOS ANGELES—Jenna Foxx joined the adult industry in 2015, notoriously losing her virginity at 19 while performing as Tara Foxx in a threesome for Reality King’s Chocolate Cookies 4. As Foxx told it, the scene was fire, but the experience underwhelming. Despite the impromptu ice cream party that followed, commemorating Foxx’s special moment, she lamented the lack of fanfare—but not for the reason one might think.
“Marketing-wise, I’ve been told it would have been better for my career if it had happened in L.A.,” Foxx said. “There would have been more hype. I regret that. But I was brand new in Miami and had not been out to L.A. yet.”
Foxx said the only reason she had waited to lose her virginity was because she “was scared to get pregnant.”
“That was my parents’ one rule,” she remembered. “Don’t come home pregnant.”
Before shooting the infamous scene, Foxx worked on a horse farm in Miami, teaching kids to ride, and danced at Tootsie’s Cabaret, the largest gentlemen’s club in the world. “Double life,” she quipped. “Like Hannah Montana…just kidding.”
Foxx has been very open with her parents about how she makes a living.
She said, “When I stripped for the first time, I came home with a bag of money, dumped it on the bed, and was like, ‘Oh my God, look what I’ve made! My mom asked, ‘Where did you get that from?’ I said, ‘I’m stripping down at Tootsie’s. Tell dad not to come in the daytime!’”
Foxx did the same when her first DVD box cover came out. “I said, ‘Mom, look, I’m on the box cover!’” she recalled. “Dad couldn’t say anything. I was already grown. I made my own money. My parents were cool. They just told me to be safe in porn—to get shots regularly and go to the doctor. Little did they know there was a health protocol in porn.”
Now a porn veteran at 29, with more than 500 titles under her belt, Foxx’s adult career has been rewarding and robust, opening doors to mainstream modeling opportunities (e.g., the women’s sportswear company Fabletics and the women’s intimates label Harper Wilde) as well as business ventures like her own Houston-based online and retail fashion boutique, Musee Kouture.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Foxx has focused on her booming OnlyFans platform. Nowadays, it takes something truly remarkable to get her on a studio set.
“I want to shoot fun stuff,” Foxx said. “I’m tired of being put into the workout clothes. I don’t want to be shot running on the treadmill again. I can shoot that myself at home. I want to shoot fun scenes like they used to back in the day. Like when Julia Ann was nailed to a cross as a nun and gangbanged! I’m, like, fuck what? I want to do that. Why hasn’t any studio presented something like that to me?”
“But I always keep my foot in the door,” Foxx said. “Because I still love to shoot for the companies. It just depends on the scene and the people. I do shoot with active performers on my OnlyFans.”
Foxx, who is close friends with AVN Hall of Famer Julia Ann, does gravitate to the MILFs.
“I like the MILFs. That was my thing when I first got in the business,” Foxx recalled. “I was like the MILF Hunter. I would go around and talk to all the MILFs and say, ‘Are you looking for a girlfriend? Do you want to fuck? That was, like, my whole thing.”
Foxx continued, “It’s probably the maturity they have. They’ve been around and not just sex wise. They know things. They’re experienced. I know some aren’t, but most are, so it’s like a challenge. I like a challenge…because I think I’m mature.”
