LOS ANGELES—Hailey Rose started her journey into the adult industry through swinging with her at-the-time-boyfriend Max Fills.
“My husband and I have always had an open relationship," Rose says. "When we met we had just gotten out of bad relationships, and we met with the intention of, ‘We’re not gonna start a relationship, we’re just gonna have fun.’ [Chuckle] And then, of course, the feelings came and we inevitably fell in love. But we wanted to continue engaging in our sexual... promiscuity, I guess you could say.
“We started swinging together, we saw other couples doing partner swaps and things like that. We had been taking photos to show to other couples, and we got into that. We found that recording what we do is kinda fun—I like taking nudes—and around this time I had quit my job and I needed something to start doing. We decided to start an OnlyFans and see how that goes. It took off pretty quickly. We started some social media pages, started posting on there, and that did really well. We did OnlyFans for about 8 to 10 months, and we started getting invited to events because we lived in L.A., and I got very curious about [the adult industry]. Back when I was a young 18-year-old and watching porn, I thought to myself, ‘Maybe I could do that.’ I didn’t want to assume I knew what it was like, but it looked really fun and cool. I met people who were doing it and they loved it.”
Rose's first work scene was an OnlyFans collaboration with Keiran Lee. “That went really well, and he asked me and Max if we wanted to do a scene together for Brazzers. It’s pretty hard to beat that first offer. I was like, ‘This is my time. This is it.’ We said yes. We were pretty excited, pretty nervous. We shot that first scene and I loved the experience of being on set... and everything has just grown from there.”
That Brazzers scene, “Double Timing with Big Naturals,” was not only her first professional scene, but a pretty-girl still from the shoot was used for the cover of the Pornstar Therapy 8 DVD that followed. “It still stands out as one of my favorite scenes, because it was very raw and organic. Once you’re in the industry for a while and you watch a lot of porn, there are certain things you pick up. There are ways I perform now when I want to show off certain things. This one will always be special for me because it was my first scene and I was so happy at how it turned out. Having those two things together is really cool, that I could do something for the first time and be really proud of what the finished product was.”
At the 2025 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, Hailey signed at the Brazzers booth. “That was really fun. They really took care of me: did my makeup every day, they got everything ready—they got my badge—it was very smooth. It was nice to have them by my side. It always amazes me that I see the same guys that I saw last year. The same fans came back to see me. It’s really cool to have fans like that, that are, like, dedicated. I never thought I would be doing any type of work where people would know my name or could recognize me. It’s cool that they get excited to see me, and I’m excited, too.
“I’m so grateful that I get to be face-to-face with these people who get something out of what I do, and they enjoy my work, and we get to have a chat about that. So much of this work is me behind a camera somewhere, and anonymous people on the Internet watching it. But to change that dynamic to where we’re face-to-face, and to feel that appreciation in person, is really special. And really unique. I was grateful that I could be there. They were so excited, they’d come up to me and wanted to meet me and it was cool that I could do that for them. Makes me feel good.”
Her star showcase, titled All or Nothing: A Hailey Rose Showcase, was nominated for a 2025 AVN Award. “That was a movie I produced in 2024. It started as a passion project, because I had this really cool story that really happened to me when I was in college. I did a foursome, a gangbang. It was me and three guys in a classroom. That really happened in college. It was a story I had been telling a lot, when I would do livestreams for my fans. I thought it would be a really cool thing to turn into a movie. I have a friend in mainstream and he had the knowledge and experience to help me put a movie together, so I had the idea—I was really passionate about telling this real-life story—and he helped me get a crew together and direct it. We shot it over three or four days, and I was really nervous about how it was going to be received because it wasn’t gonzo-here’s-me-being-sexy. It had a story and really followed the characters of the three guys more than my character. I wasn’t sure how people were going to receive it, but my fans ended up loving it. They loved that it was creative and kind of amateur, gritty, real life. The finale scene where we do the gangbang turned out really really well—and it was cool because we shot it in one take, the whole 40 minutes, with no breaks. We had spent the last three days shooting together, so all the male talent were really good friends at that point. If they weren’t, the movie wouldn’t have turned out as well, because they had such a good chemistry together. It was so special for me to create something really special, something that I just wanted to do for fun, and have it be loved by my fans and recognized by the industry. That’s more than I could have asked for.”
She was also nominated for Best Oral Scene for Sloppy Head 8 for director Jonni Darkko. “I love shooting for Jonni Darkko. He’s a master of his craft. He knows what he’s doing and he does it so well. He knows how to show off what I’ve got. He does some really great titty-fucking and we also did some really great blowjob stuff. I think those two things in one scene was really, like, part of where my skills are: I’m really proud of my oral skills, and I’m really proud of, like, my giant tits, so I thought that scene really just showed everything off well. It was produced beautifully, and who doesn’t want to shoot for Darkko and be on Evil Angel? That was a dream for me.”
Hailey likes to spend her off time in the great outdoors: “I grew up camping and being outside all the time. My parents always forced me to go on walks and get out of the house.”
