Catching Up With Baby Gemini

This feature appears in the June issue of AVN magazine.

LOS ANGELES—Baby Gemini is at ease as she talks about her life. With an easygoing demeanor and talent for rapping, the striking ebony beauty is in a unique place among her industry peers.

But as the conversation turns from performing music onstage to being in front of the camera, the New Jersey native is equally at home sharing her tales of her early days in the porn business. Sporting a smile, she moves her arms and hands while she talks as if to accentuate the drama comedy around her as she dishes on one of her first scenes where she joined industry veteran Damion Dayski for a Ricky’s Room scene.

“We had each other blocked prior to the scene. Me and Damion,” she said. “It wasn’t that we didn’t get along. It’s just mutual friend drama and it was just that he stopped being friends with my friend so I blocked him and it was hilarious because when we got on set we never even interacted until he finally said ‘Hey,’ so he was super friendly.

“My scene for Ricky’s Room with Damion is probably one of my top scenes. Very memorable. We didn’t cut the entire time. Just raw organic hot sex. I love that about Ricky’s Room.”

Having made her industry debut in 2023, the buxom 5-foot-6 starlet made an immediate impact after shooting for Brazzers, Reality Kings, Alt Erotic and others. Her charm, energy and adventurous nature immediately endeared her to fans and producers alike even as she explored her passion for performing rap music.

“I’m really creative and artistic and my mind just flows so it’s like I can’t put a lid on it, but I know eventually I’m going to go into something else,” Baby Gemini said. “I know I like to make music, so it just depends. I can’t see the future right now. I guess I have my head in the porn and I’m focused on the AVN Awards and focused on building the success that I want.”

With a love for performing and for giving her fans a good look at her wild and adventurous side, she aims to take her talents to another level as she continues her journey in the business. “I feel like I want to be the best porn star I can be. I want to fully submerge myself in that,” Gemini said.

Having worked with a number of the industry’s top performers, Gemini is thankful for the opportunities she’s had, yet she remains impacted by the sudden passing of veteran performer Jay Hefner last October. He was shot outside a nightclub in Lincoln, Neb.

“He always had a smile. He always had a joke and such a vibe and so down to earth,” she recalled. “Usually when you meet guys that are 6-3, handsome as fuck, have a huge dick, they have an ego bigger than their dick.

“There was no ego to him. He was really a genuinely nice, cool guy who was working to change his life.”

Born and raised in New Jersey, Gemini always had a competitive spirit as she grew up running track and playing soccer, earning accolades for her talent and sportsmanship. But her free-spirited nature would later take her to dancing at strip clubs and OnlyFans before making the jump to porn in 2023.

“In high school, my friends used to joke about me doing porn. I’d say, ‘You’re crazy!’” she recalled. “I was very sexually open but I was not slutty. I was comfortable with the decisions I made… But I was overly horny with my man so I started as a stripper, you know?—the stripper to porn star pipeline is so real!”

Although today she’s married, Gemini remains committed to her work that she sees as a pleasurable artistic outlet that doesn’t get in the way of her relationship.

“My husband doesn’t watch my porn. He’s not interested,” she says. “Honestly, he fucks me better. So he doesn’t care. It’s my work so I don’t want him to watch. Plus, I don’t get creampies on set.”

As for her favorite performers she’d like to work with, she was quick to name a few. “Definitely Mick Blue and definitely with Isiah [Maxwell]. And with Seth Gamble. I didn’t get to shoot with him even though we were in the same movie together. And Jason Luv,” she said. “But what I really want to do is I want to win an AVN Award. I won the Urban X for Rising Star, so now I want an AVN Award. That’s my next goal.”
