Mary Carey has been named “2005 Bimbo of the Year,” according to WorldNetDaily.com.
The award was created by Merri Spaeth, former White House media relations director under President Reagan.
According to the website, her award recognizes dumb public comments made during the year.
A press release issued by Speath doesn’t point to any one specific comment made by Carey.
Carey was one of 10 famous people selected for the dubious award.
Other Bimbo Award winners include baseball star Rafael Palmeiro, indicted Tyco CEO Dennis Kozlowski and Paris Hilton.
