Cancellation of Benefit Bikini Brawl Addressed

In a letter to the media, raVen of Bikini Brawl has explained his reasoning for calling off the event scheduled last Saturday which was going to serve as a fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina victims.

“I was told that there was an issue with porn stars being on our show and they wanted to limit what could be done,” the letter stated. “I found that very odd seeing I sent the names of our talent the week before the show and they had access to our web site to see what we were all about.

Calling a conference with participants Annie Cruz, Jack Lawrence, Alana Evans and Trina Michaels, raVen made the decision to pull the event in order to avoid uneasiness for the talent and crew.

“It really sucked because this was a charity event, but if my talent and crew would not feel comfortable doing the show then how am I to let it go on?” raVen said. “What are you to do and how are you to feel when the manager/co-owner tells you every day for one week that our location agreement looks good and there are no issues and then two hours before the show they change their minds?”

The event will go on, raVen promised, at a time and location to be announced.

“This show is not cancelled by any means … it is just postponed to a different day and definitely a different location.”
