The line of fans extended out the door and onto the sidewalk for a chance to meet ten porn stars as part of California Exotic Novelties in-store signing event last night at the Hustler Hollywood on Sunset Strip.
“In our five years of existence, this is one of our biggest events,” Theresa Flynt, executive vice-president of retail operations told AVN.com. “This is the first time we’ve had a toy company and we have Scott Stein [of SMS Promotions] and Susan Colvin [owner of Cal Exotics] to thank for it.”
There were porn stars from Wicked, Digital Playground, Pleasure, Video Team and Shane's World Studios involved with the event – representing all of the companies that Cal Exotics has licenses with.
“We wanted to make a big splash and not sleight anybody,” Al Bloom said on the decision to bring representatives from each of their signature series together for one in-store.
Bloom hinted at a potential new signature series, but was “not at liberty to give any details at the moment.”
While a novelty company brought them together, the mostly male fans were there to take photos with and get autographs from: Video Team's contract performer Daisy, Digital Playground's contract performer Jesse Jane, Pleasure Girls Nikki Benz and Trinity, Calli Cox representing Shane's World Studios, and Wicked Girls Devinn Lane, Syndee Steele, and Stephanie Swift.
The event was Stephanie Swift’s last official appearance as a Wicked Girl. “Stephanie was gracious enough to honor this last commitment and we appreciate that,” Daniel Metcalfe, publicist for Wicked Pictures told AVN.com.
Dayton Rains, who has her own signature line with Cal Exotics, was there at the beginning of the night, but had to leave early due to a feature dancing scheduling conflict.
Prizes were raffled off throughout the evening and a live dj was in the store playing music.
