A man buying a used digital camera got more than just a bargain - he got what the Evening News called "a saucy picture of a naked man" on his computer, when he downloaded photographs he took after buying the camera.
That prompted seller Argos to apologize to Eamon and Jackie Gall for selling the camera without having checked any lingering content inside it, the newspaper said. The camera had been used but returned by a prior owner before being sold to the Galls, and Argos told the News they were trying to track that prior owner.
"As soon as I connected the camera into the computer, this photo came up of this naked fellow on a bed," said Gall, who has two teenage children, a 19 year old son and a 15 year old daughter. "I'm just glad Sarah was at school."
"I'm not prudish," his wife told the paper, "but I don't want something like that coming into my house."
