Actor-director Brett Rockman has just launched Video on Demand on his web site, www.rockmanentertainment.com . Members can download a variety of scenes or pieces of scenes or scene trailers.
Within a week, Rockman told AVN.com, every title he has in release will be available for downloads. He and his web programmer, Masta Wong, are putting up and coding five scenes daily. Wong, he says, is “one of the best webmasters out there. He’s my secret guy.”
“This is a definite step upward for the company,” Rockman opined. “The Internet is the future, and we have to be involved.”
Rockman took over his own distribution around the beginning of this year, selling directly to wholesalers. “Getting to know the distributors has been a great experience,” he said.
“How many performers have become their own distributor?” he asked rhetorically, adding, with a grin, “I don’t recommend it for everybody. It uses up all your time.”
About a dozen of the 16 titles Rockman has shot so far are now on the street. His biggest sellers up to now, he said, have been Blowjobs Gone Wild and Facial Deposit. Latest release is 2 Hot 2 Handle 2. Next up is Facial Deposit 2, followed by Get a Grip, a handjob movie, and Pissed Off Housewives.
