MONTREAL—Award-winning helmswoman and Gamma Films Group/Adult Time chief creative officer Bree Mills lends her directing talents for the first time to Wicked.com with new feature Breadcrumbs.
Starring Lexi Luna and Seth Gamble, Breadcrumbs centers on the real-life challenges of balancing love and family, a departure from the typical family roleplay fantasies often seen in adult productions. With Mills’ signature storytelling style, the movie delves into themes of emotional and digital disconnection, communication and the strain of modern-day parenting on intimacy, according to promotional materials.
“For my first film for Wicked, I wanted to explore a subject close to my heart and one I believe resonates deeply with many of our fans: the challenges of balancing relationships and intimacy as a busy parent,” Mills explained. “Breadcrumbs delves into the modern-day struggles of digital and emotional disconnection in relationships, highlighting the importance of honest communication while examining the complexities of love and identity.”
Offered Luna, “This was my first lead role in a feature, and I was able to develop the character much more than I can in independent scenes. I channeled real emotion in dialogue, and it was a new and exciting experience for me thanks to Bree’s direction.”
Gamble added, “I’m super grateful I had the opportunity to not only star in Breadcrumbs, but get to co-produce Bree’s Wicked debut with my production crew! I felt like we made an awesome project. The entire cast delivered incredibly and I felt like the entire film was such a smooth process. Lexi Luna’s portrayal of her character was spot on, and I was honored to be able to lead a movie with her for the first time.
