LOS ANGELES—Adult Time will release Hard Stop on August 29, pulling viewers into a week-long sex addiction rehab where one woman’s fight to keep her secrets is shattered by the raw confessions of the women around her, forcing her to face the truth about herself—or never escape the cycle.
The feature stars an ensemble cast of Reagan Foxx, Anna Claire Clouds, Little Puck, Sarah Arabic, Kenna James, Jane Wilde, Theodora Day, Dick Chibbles, Lucky Fate, Vince Karter, Nathan Bronson, Seth Gamble, Diego Perez, Robby Apples, Christian Wilde, Tommy Pistol, Codey Steele and Olivia Jay.
Writer/director Bree Mills says she was inspired by real-world research into sex and love addiction when creating the movie.
“I wanted to make a film that isn’t afraid to sit in the uncomfortable spaces,” said Mills. “It’s about how shame, desire, and vulnerability can collide in ways that are both destructive and transformative. The cast brought so much courage and truth to their performances, and I’m proud we were able to tell a story that shows the messy, human side of reclaiming your own sexuality.”
