Black Widow Releasing has announced plans expand its American offerings by putting out the call to directors in the adult industry who are looking for ownership of their own product.
Black Widow’s current catalog includes lines from Germany and England. The company’s only American line is Jose Pusher's Pimping Adventures, which owner Ric Williams would like to change.
"Our foreign partners have given us the opportunity to distribute some of the best adult product coming out of Europe right now," Williams said. "But we've reached a point where we're looking to expand the American-produced product we distribute. It's an excellent opportunity for quality adult directors who want to make the step to ownership. We can also offer foreign distribution to directors and producers through Black Widow's foreign associates."
Williams also said the American market has a large, untapped pool of adult directorial talent that often goes unnoticed because of the crowded marketplace.
"What we offer at Black Widow is the chance for a producer or director to stand out and be more than just another series that's on a cold call sheet," Williams said. "It's having distribution and sales behind the producer and director and owning something, rather than just getting a fee."
