Ever since the cross-distribution deal with Pure Play Media and Private Media Group was released last week, adult industry insiders have been curious to find out what would become of John Thompson's German Goo Girls (GGG) line – a popular German hardcore line that was to be distributed by Black Widow Productions through Private.
"The rumors regarding the demise of Black Widow's deal to distribute GGG are not true. We've secured a warehouse, a shipping staff and we've received our product,” Black Widow Productions owner Ric Williams announced today.
Williams stated that the first two GGG titles to be released, Ass Full of Cum and Bombarded with Sperm, will ship on October 18, followed by two new GGG titles each week.
GGG titles will only be released on DVD.
Williams served as general manager of Private USA until the aforementioned cross-distribution deal led to the closure of Private’s Sun Valley offices as announced last week. It was while working for Private that Williams became acquainted with the GGG line.
John Thompson is a 15-year-veteran of the German adult industry who is wildly popular in Europe for three lines: GGG, 666, and John Thompson Productions.
Williams has the American rights for GGG and John Thompson Productions, but passed on the 666 line because it’s a pissing line.
Williams believes that GGG videos have a unique format – instead of breaking the video into scenes, GGG videos are continuous – a linear progression of the sex takes place in an unscripted manner at sex parties Thompson throws in Munich.
