Black Ice Limited, an offshoot of Zero Tolerance Entertainment, on Friday announced the signing Dawayne Dane as a contract director.
Dane, who is quickly making a name for himself, said, “I’m a 100 percent down low, dirty pervert,” he said. “When people buy a Dawayne Dane movie they’re going to be getting some down and dirty, gritty, shit."
Black Ice, which is focusing exclusively on all-black product and interracial product, recently announced that signing of veteran performer/director Brian Pumper.
“Dawayne is the perfect addition to our directorial stable,” explained Black Ice General Manager, Tony Santoro. “Dawayne has that really nasty edge."
Dane has been gaining experience under the tutelage of 3rd Degree Films’ veteran director, Chris Streams.
Black Ice president Greg Alves said, “With Dawayne and Brian we feel as though we have two guys who share a common vision to provide the consumers with quality Black-on-Black and Interracial product.”
Black Ice’s first title, Mo’ Betta Black, will be released on Nov. 1.
