BeyondSilk.com Launches Mobile Glamour Books

BeyondSilk has launched mGlamour version 2.0,an image-viewing software application for mobile smartphone devices. It was developed by Barefoot Software Asia Limited.

mGlamour provides the ability to repackage still-image content for mobile viewing on the Series 60 platform. Developed by Nokia, S60 is the world’s leading smartphone platform, with more than 48 million devices already in the market.

mGlamour launches with a range of adult book content from BeyondSilk, as well as seductive Stripplettes.

mGlamour enables glamour content providers and publishers to distribute images of glamour models or adult content. It is free, and is now available for S60 smartphones via an Internet or WAP download as well as via MMC and other forms of digital media distribution.

mGlamour user benefits include one-handed automated or manual navigation; intuitive navigation through frames, pages, and books; simple transaction and delivery; secure digital rights management; business models for mobile operators and publishers; image zoom; high-resolution image rendering; and support for language packs (English, Chinese, German, Italian, French).

Some of the benefits for glamour content providers and publishers include a direct-sales model with a low cost for distribution, support for operator and other distribution channels, and quick and low-cost entry into the mobile services market.

BeyondSilk provides complete mGlamour service from title publishing to listing on BeyondSilk.com, transaction processing, and delivery.

“mGlamour is simply outstanding,” says Charles Rossi of BeyondSilk. “Finally, S60 users are able to use the power of these devices to view complete image books containing pages of high-resolution images. Now everyone can enjoy the whole mobile book experience. With mGlamour, the experience is enhanced that much more, and the business models and delivery are so simple that everyone from the publisher through to the end user get great value for money.

“Whilst providing a commercial library of glamour books on BeyondSilk.com, publishers and content providers can now extend their image offering to the mobile market, which as we say in the business, is huge,” Rossi continues. “The opportunities mGlamour and BeyondSilk provide the publishers and content providers on this platform are outstanding, and with the growth of the S60 market outdoing the growth of the Internet in the mid 1990s, the risk is minimal—but the opportunity is vast and can only be measured by blue-sky numbers.”
