LOS ANGELES—Bellesa Plus has wrapped production on a new original scene, “The Game,” directed by Jacky St. James and featuring Lumi Ray's first double penetration.
The upcoming scene pairs Ray with performers Small Hands and Dante Colle in a story crafted around Ray's personality and creativity, while it marks the first time she has explored a d.p. both on- and off-camera.
"I always get butterflies before something new, but I was mostly excited because I knew I was in good hands," Ray said.
Reflecting on the production, she continued, "A d.p. wasn't necessarily a specific fantasy of mine, but I was curious about it and excited to explore something new, especially with Small Hands and Dante. It was much more collaborative and comfortable than people might assume. Everyone was incredibly communicative and respectful, like always on a Bellesa Plus set, which made it easy to stay present and actually enjoy the experience. It ended up feeling a lot more playful than intimidating, and the story Jacky wrote for us was absolutely perfect."
"Lumi has a very unique energy and perspective. Being able to capture her first d.p. in a setting that speaks to who she is as a human, and with two male performers she hand-selected for the day, made it feel like we all got to live in her beautiful brain," said director St. James. "What stood out most was that it was her first time doing a d.p. both on and off camera, so the experience naturally evolved throughout the scene and every moment felt authentic."
Looking ahead to the release, Ray shared what she hopes fans will take away from the scene. "They'll be excited because it's something a little different for me. My fans know I like pushing myself creatively and trying new things when they feel right," she said. "I hope they see that I was genuinely having fun, because that's what I remember most about filming it."
Lumi Ray’s first d.p. will premiere exclusively on Bellesa Plus on August 15.
