SAN FRANCISCO—BasisDx, makers of the PASS-certified at-home STI testing kit, has announced a new subscription model option designed for adult performers, content creators, and members of the lifestyle community.
A company representative said demand for BasisDx Pro13 testing kits has “gone through the roof.” When testing at least twice a month, adult performers, content creators, and members of the lifestyle community find having the kit on hand is essential, the representative added.
For frequent testers, BasisDx has introduced a subscription model. Subscribers will have two kits automatically shipped once a month, with a five percent discount off the regular kit price and any additional items ordered. Subscriptions that continue for more than six consecutive months will receive a seven percent discount. Subscribers are able to cancel or hold subscriptions at any time. Unused kits have a one-year shelf life.
“During the Exxxotica shows, many performers and creators asked us about a subscription model. When you’re testing often, having the kits and not having to order them is much easier. We thought it was a great idea, and here we are. We’ve already had a lot of sign-ups and expect many more,” said Dr. K, BasisDx founder and CEO.
