Babeland.com, the women-friendly sex toy website and store, has launched the G-Spot Center, an informational website devoted exclusively to the pleasures of the G-spot.
Short for “Grafenberg spot,” the G-spot is an area inside the vagina that, upon stimulation, can lead to orgasm and even ejaculation.
Babeland is ideally suited to spin off a G-spot site, its owners believe. As proprietors of the Babeland.com web site and its four brick-and-mortar stores, co-founders Rachel Venning and Claire Cavanah know better than most people what women want, they say.
“The G-spot is to women today what the clitoris was 40 years ago: new, uncharted terrain, something that holds the promise of sexual riches,” says Cavanah.
The G-Spot Center offers facts, drawings, photos, and toys to help women and their partners find and enjoy the G-spot. The site is designed to be informative and sexy, with topics like “What’s the best position to find the G-spot?” or “How can I teach my partner to stimulate my G-spot?” Sex toys particularly suited to G-spot exploration are reviewed and sold on the site, including the G-Spot Deluxe kit, which includes the unique, handcrafted Galaxy G vibrator along with other must-have toys.
Tasteful black and white photos of couples engaged in sex play accompany clear instructions.
“We thought it was important that the site not only explain how to find your G-spot, but be visually compelling enough to inspire you to drop everything and start exploring,” explains Venning.
The stunning photos by celebrated photographer Duane Cramer do just that, giving the site helpful visuals while also whetting the viewer’s appetite.
Venning said that in the 10 years that she’s been answering sex questions in her advice column, the G-Spot has been a recurring theme.
“We knew it was time to unleash the power of the G,” she says.
