Babeland, a premier women-owned and-operated sexuality boutique,, is opening a Los Angeles store on October 27.
“We’ve wanted to open in L.A. for years,” said Claire Cavanah, co-founder of Babeland. “Now that we’ve found the perfect location in Hollywood, we’re ready to introduce Southern California to our brand of sex-positive, women-friendly sex toy retail."
Fed up with the lack of women-friendly sex shops in their community, Cavanah and Rachel Venning opened the first Babeland in Seattle in 1993.
The Los Angeles store will be located at 7007 Melrose Avenue at La Brea.
