Performer Apollo Moon Dies at 26

LOS ANGELES—Apollo Moon, an up-and-coming performer, died Sunday while in intensive care on life support, according to a post by his family on the fundraising platform Meal Train. He was 26.

Moon was hospitalized after an incident that left him in critical condition, the family noted.

"We want to let you all know that [Moon]’s health declined; he has succumbed to his injuries and been pronounced brain dead," reads a statement by one of the family members. "Our family is devastated. [Moon] designated himself as an organ donor and the hospital will be holding an honor walk (date and time to be determined) in celebration of his life and choice to help others. We appreciate all of your love and help during this difficult time."

Some of Moon's most recent work includes his Brazzers debut in the AVN Award-nominated star showcase Kira Noir on Display and content collaborations with other high-profile adult talent. He won Best Trans Masculine Performer at the 2024 Urban X Awards and was nominated for a similar honor at the 2024 Trans Erotica Awards.

No information for a celebration of life has yet been announced. People can donate to Moon's family through the Meal Train platform by clicking here.
