Novice gay webmasters know the value in having a supportive online community where they can find information and network with other site owners. With the arrival of GayWebmasters.com, their options have increased.
Having conquered the audiotext and gay website industries, founder Dick Hunter intended to launch a webmaster forum but, he “held off on developing [it] until I thought I could handle making it as good as the domain name deserves.”
Launched in 2005, the site targets webmasters in both adult and mainstream markets. “Visitors can surf the site through three dynamic views, choosing to see content related to adult webmasters, mainstream webmasters, or both,” says Hunter. “This creates the potential for crossover.”
With a message board, an advanced private messaging system, Hunter’s entertaining blog, and a Webmasters Resource Directory that can be syndicated via RSS and Atom feeds, you’ve got yourself one helluva resource community. “I’m putting all my resources and energy into growing this site,” Hunter says. “I plan on keeping it up until GayWebmasters.com is a leader in gay webmaster resources.”
We think he’s well on his way.
