They'll be presented at a huge show and party in Las Vegas next January, but the deadline for the 2000 AVN Awards consideration is the close of business October 29.
Only those tapes released from Nov. 1, 1998 through Oct. 31, 1999 are eligible. The awards nominations will be announced Wednesday, November 24.
The AVN Awards will be presented Jan. 8, 2000 at the Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas.
Awards categories will include best film, best video feature, best performances, best series, and best sex scenes, as well as certain techincal achievement, genre, and other achievement awards.
Calling it "The Greatest Post Party Ever," the evening will include a cocktail party at 7:30 p.m., followed by the awards presentation from 9-11 p.m., followed by an 11 p.m.-dawn post show party with live music and dancing at the Venetian's new Club 2K.
Tickets are on sale now through the day of the event, at $180 per person for individual tickets and tables of ten at $1,650 per table. However, after December 1, individual tickets will go to $195 apiece.
