Law enforcement officials from a multi-agency task force closed down a strip club operating out of recording studio store front last week.
County inspectors, police officers and others making up the Prince George’s County Livable Communities Initiative Task Force raided the Another Level Studio to shut down a strip club that had been illegally operating there, the D.C. Examiner reported.
Charles Boyd, the studio’s owner met task force members at the studio’s door then locked it behind him when officers tried to enter.
Once inside, law enforcement officials found business cards and pamphlets on escort services and exotic dancers. Customers were also found inside the illegal club along with about a half dozen strippers in two stalls used as dressing rooms.
Authorities said a number of safety problems were discovered, such as illegal walls were along with a slew of extension cables on the floor as well as a lack of fire exit signs.
