Call it aural sex if you like or if you must. But call it the launch of CD Erotic, a Website offering a variety of adult audio recordings in which women tell erotic stories for the listener to visualize.
CD Erotic's premiere releases are Earotic, Vols. 1 & 2. Both feature tracks following formats similar to those of radio plays, with two tracks taking listeners through a pair of kinky women's fantasies while the other tracks recall a pair of spicy sexual encounters, CD Erotic said, adding they plan to issue more CDs come summer.
"Traditionally, adult material has only been available in predominantly visual mediums such as magazines, videos, and the Web, but we've now made adult content portable," said spokesperson Mona Lott, announcing the launch. "Adults can listen to these erotic stories in their cars or on their portable CD players, and as long as they have headphones, the experience remains extremely private.
"It's hard to think of anything more enjoyable to listen to during your commute than gorgeous women telling their naughtiest stories in full detail," Lott continued. "We give new meaning to the phrase, 'for your listening pleasure'."
The company added that, given the incumbent HIV scare that brought the adult entertainment industry to a virtual standstill, CD Erotic discs could also be seen as the safest erotica around. Even safer, Lott said, than telephone sex or cybersex: "I would think so. It's a very non-contact kind of erotica."
The CDs developed, Lott said, from "a couple of people who were sort of floating the idea around. This medium has been around for 60 years. Why wasn't it applied to this kind of idea before? It took about six to eight months from start to end getting it going, getting the writing, the talent, the post production, getting all the different rights."
But the early reception has been hugely encouraging, with "a small ton of interviews" either done or coming with several media outlets, Lott said.
