Astrux Entertainment isn’t new to the adult industry, the company has been editing videos for various production companies for the last three years, though editing credits were generally given to one of the principals of the company rather than the company itself.
Now Lenny Stiltz, Phil Martin and Will Wix, the principals behind Astrux, have taken what they learned in the editing bay working on projects for Wicked Pictures, Platinum X, Video Team and other studios, and started shooting their own videos.

“We learned what to do and what not to do, now we’re ready to try on our own,” Stiltz told AVN.com.
Astrux is a condom-only production company, a decision made before Darren James was diagnosed as HIV-positive, causing quite a few companies to at least consider that option.
“We made a decision to use condoms in all of our movies, a month before all of this stuff [the current HIV outbreak] went down,” Will Wix said. “Thank God that we did make that decision, because as you see with what happened now, I think everybody in the business is going to be using condoms now.”
Their first project, Up in Da Club – LA is currently in post, and is expected to be ready for the market by June 18, when Astrux will showcase their work at Erotica LA.
Wix, who directed the video, describes their videos as high-end wall-to-wall videos that are “not so in your face hardcore.”
“The camera is always floating around, not staying on one static shot. It’s free flow, like an MTV-style video, but not as fast moving,” Wix said.
Lenny Stilz, the producer of their first video, points out that when Wix said “high-end,” he meant very high-end.
“We used a very expensive prop, a $3 million Mercedes-Benz that we will be bringing to our booth at LA Erotica as well,” Stilz said. “We had an awesome girl/girl scene with Destiny St. Clair and a Hungarian girl named Judy on top of the car.”
The Mercedes-Benz he is referring to is the CLK GTR Roadster, only five of which are produced each year.
Wix thinks that the car will help draw attention to the video “I think it’s something that people haven’t seen before and any one that’s into cars will want to check it out, but hopefully the scene alone will turn everyone own,” he said.
Besides St. Claire and Judy, Up in Da Club – LA also features Taylor Rain, Essey Moore, Danni Woodward, and Barbi Bucxx.
Astrux Entertainment is currently seeking a distribution deal, but for now will distribute their videos themselves. Once the production moratorium is lifted they intend to produce one movie a month and work their way up.
