LAS VEGAS—Adult entertainer and creator Asteria Jade can now add director to her growing list of career firsts. Jade’s first scene as a helmswoman debuted this week from Mean Bitches, resulting in studio owner Glenn King offering her a regular directing gig.
The scene, titled “Femdom Therapy 10—September Reign,” stars Reign and Silas Stone, and is also available on Clips4Sale and ManyVids.
King, who mentored Jade in femdom directing, said the scene was already popular with viewers.
“Asteria has incredible instincts for good camera angles, and her chemistry with female talent helped September Reign really ‘become’ the character. The scene shows the psychological side of femdom while also showing off September’s physical skills. It’s a five-star scene,” King said.
Going forward, Jade will produce one to two of the four scenes the studio puts out each month, so King can "step away and enjoy retirement more,” a rep said.
Jade started mentoring under King a year ago, when she returned for a second scene with the studio, featuring her, King and Hime Marie, and directed by adult legend John Stagliano, who was a mentor to King. Shortly after the project was shot, King offered to start Jade on the mentorship program, which included BTS work. After three months under Kings’ guidance, Jade made her solo directing debut with “Femdom Therapy 10 -September Reign.”
