HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Multi-award-winning performers-producers Ariel Demure and Brittany Andrews have teamed up for The Naughty Nanny, an over-the-top parody of iconic ‘90s sitcom The Nanny. The new parody features an all-star cast of trans, gay and cis performers, along with other well-known adult personalities.
The self-produced feature just wrapped a three-day shoot and is headed to post-production with a premiere date scheduled for November 26—coincidentally the birthday of Ariel Demure and main character “Fran” (and also the day before Thanksgiving this year).
The cast includes Demure as Fran, Andrews as Sylvia, Dom Cruise (the performer formerly known as Reese Rideout) as Mr. Sheffield, Michael Boston as Fran’s best friend Val, Jade Venus as C.C., Victor Belmont and Chance Heart, and a featured cameo appearance by '80s XXX star Amber Lynn, as Yetta.
Several other adult figures also make cameo appearances. Behind the camera, crew included well-known cinematographer Mr. Pam, as well as Sal Genoa and Joel Sinclair.
“I’ve always been told I look and sound like Fran Drescher, so this feature had to be made. I was fortunate to work with Mr. Pam, Brittany, and such an incredible cast. It’s not just a reboot—it’s a statement and I’m so excited for the world to see it,” said Demure.
She and Andrews were key creatives behind the production’s campy style and aesthetic, which, according to Demure, was heavily rooted in comedy, culture and fashion like the original sitcom.
Demure personally curated the wardrobe pieces, which included sewing and constructing several custom looks. The styles mimic the over-the-top '90s aesthetic created by costume designer Brenda Cooper for the TV sitcom. Designer pieces by Thierry Mugler, Christian Lacroix, Helmut Lang, Travilla and others, as well as Ariel’s custom work are featured throughout the movie. Demure was even able to procure the original vintage robe worn on the television show by Dresher.
Juice Benson and his animation studio, End All Productions, were also brought onboard to create an animated sequence for the feature.
The movie also features a first-ever scene for Andrews, who played the lead character of Fran in the original adult parody of the sitcom, Wicked Pictures' The Fanny, in 1997.
Andrews performs a career-first boy/boy/girl scene with two trans men (Victor Belmont and Chance Heart), spotlighting transgender male performers whom she feels are generally underrepresented in adult.
The Naughty Nanny will debut on OnlyFans, followed by release on DVD and VOD, for consideration in the 2027 awards season.
