Europeans seeking the latest adult videos starring Jenna Jameson will have to deal with Antigua Pictures from now on – whether they are looking for a title she performed in for ClubJenna or Vivid.
Antigua Pictures has inked an exclusive deal with ClubJenna, Inc. and Vivid Entertainment Group to represent titles featuring multiple AVN Award-winning performer Jenna Jameson in foreign territories.
The deal covers foreign sales for all future ClubJenna releases, as well as all future Vivid titles featuring Jameson.
Jay Grdina, president and CEO of ClubJenna, told AVN.com that the deal with Antigua enhances the already impressive distribution afforded ClubJenna by Vivid, via LFP Distribution, and increase the overall brand-recognition of Jenna Jameson.
"Vivid is bar none, the best distributor in the world. Steven Hirsch is a marketing genius and has done a great job getting Jenna's name out there," Grdina said. "Antigua's Todd Blatt will really help facilitate Jenna's name branding in the European market. That's his forte."
Grdina said that his long acquaintance with Todd Blatt, owner of Antigua, was a factor in deal. "I've known Todd for a long time and I feel very comfortable having my product represented by Vivid in some areas and Antigua in others."
Blatt acknowledged that his relationship with Grdina helped seal the deal. "I've known Jay for many years, since he first stepped into the business, running the stage over there for VCA, directing some movies for VCA. We go back a long time."
Blatt has already finalized a licensing deal for European DVD rights with Switzerland-based Best Seller Films Distribution Holdings GMBH.
"The deal is for putting the movies in the local languages for every country in Europe, and we get a royalty on each piece," Blatt said.
Antigua Pictures doesn't control the European rights to all Vivid and ClubJenna titles featuring Jameson – some titles had already been licensed in various foreign countries, and those deals are still on. "They've already had some licensing deals done in certain countries on some of the Jenna titles but everything coming out from here on out will be licensed by me to Best Seller Films," Blatt said.
Where the Boys Aren't 16 , from Vivid, and Bella Loves Jenna, from ClubJenna, are the first two titles Best Seller Films will release under the deal.
