Warm, sunny late morning, almost noon, at a hilltop location house. The infinity pool overlooks an urban grid, lightly obscured by haze. Inside, director Hans arranges white couches for performer interviews, with an eye to keeping the same general setup for the orgy to follow this evening in the third installment in his Fuck Club series. "If you're a guy, and you're fucking, you don't need this much room," Hans says, kneeing a couch closer to the wall. First-arrival India Summer pads down the hall, fresh from a shower, sandals slapping her feet, towel around her waist, and is asked to pose on a couch so Hans and the techs can check lighting and frame shots for the interview sequences.
"We're going to shoot the tease scenes outdoors," Hans says. "I want the talent to be comfortable. They can understand my wishes and they get a free hand to deliver, and the product is always better. They trust me on this." The initial Fuck Club was nominated for an AVN Award, and Hans says, "This was the first movie I ever tried to run with, and I was overwhelmed to be nominated. I didn't see that coming. I was probably the first Swede and probably the first Scandinavian to be nominated. I have no idea who else would have been. We did a second one in January, right before Adult Expo, here in California. We had good weather, like today."

Hans personally did the casting for the orgy: "I never pick talent at random. I pick talent because I know what I would like. I take time watching each girl: how they perform, how they use their social media, I think it says a lot about what they'll bring to set. I look at what they do, if the scene has an intro and how they connect to other people. I want talent who will be easy to direct. It takes some time to pick talent. It's not about their name, it's about what will they bring to my set.
“I love Jennifer White. She is performing extremely well. She did my first [Fuck Club], and she will return today as well,” Hans says. “She delivers 10 times out of 10, she's very good talent. She will deliver lots of positive energy today."
Hans explains, “This year Jennifer White has been ten years in the industry! Having her in the orgy is a great way to show her how much I appreciate her.”
India Summer has ditched the towel and is walking around in knee-high boots. Costume for the day for the female performers is high heels, black leggings and a red Vampirella suit. "He's the best for casting and costuming," producer Conor Coxxx says.
"When you go on a set, it should be the best scene you're ever going to shoot," Tiffany Watson says. "That should be your mentality: The best scene I'm ever going to shoot, period. And every time you get back on set, this is going to be the best scene I'll ever shoot." What are you shooting today? "Today we're going to shot an orgy, and it's going to be the best scene ever." The Behind the Scenes is supplemented with interviews of each performer, in the orgy area, and the interviews are being shot casually as people socialize and techs prepare.

By the pool, Summer confers with still photographer Rick Garcia on poses for her pretty-girls. Inside, Paige Owens examines her makeup in a full-length mirror incongruously mounted on the wall between a wet bar and the kitchen. Jillian Janson helpfully points out a tiny flaw in Owens' makeup and fixes it. Finished with her stills, Summer walks in, pulls off her suit with a sigh — not that it took a lot of doing. "That feels better," she laughs. New arrival Karma Rx walks in with an enormous pink roller bag. ("That's deliberate" Hans explains. "I give staggered call times. They come in separately, you create a good atmosphere. They can prepare.")
With the pretty-girls done and the interviews concluded, the girls are brought by the pool for a group shot in the golden late-afternoon sunlight, assisted by reflectors. Interestingly, nude and in the Vampirella suit may look much the same, but the performers good-naturedly grouse about keeping the suit centered over nipples plus the center strap in the back is irritating. No matter, the suits will be off soon. Summer, Janson, Chloe Cherry and Casey Calvert strut around the pool as the camera follows them, then Owens, Karma Rx and Watson follow suit. Out of the action, Janson puts her phone on a windowsill and twerks for the camera. Coming soon to social media near you.
The girls line up by the pool, and Coxxx shoulders his camera and walks past them, getting a traveling shot. "Smile," he directs. He does it again at knee level, black leggings front and center. "Turn around." Another pass, this time aiming at butts. "Lean forward, stick 'em out." As Garcia moves in for stills, makeup artists are painting raccoon masks on the male talent: Brad Newman, Juan "El Loco" Caballo, Chad Alva, Alex Jett, and Hans. "The guys are masked because it's a girls' club," Hans explains to a guy in the makeup chair. "And the guys are anonymous." The guy asks "How long will the masks stay on?" and Hans replies "You'll sweat it off when you go down on the girl. It'll be a mess."

As the sun begins to set, the final pre-orgy prep begins. The girls walk around nude, stalling putting on the uncomfortable Vampirella suits and high heels for as long as possible. Janson, barefoot, shows off the red line her high heels left on top of her feet during the tease sequences. "This is my last chance," Karma Rx says as she steps outside, still nude, with cigarette and lighter. The guys, at the craft table, take bite-size chunks of pineapple. "This is like high school again," Jett says. "Guys in one room, girls in another room." A PA says "It's showtime, folks!" Caballo strips down to black shorts, so does Newman. There are final swigs of energy drinks. A guy spits mouthwash in the kitchen sink.
The performers line up to show each other their tests on their cell phones. "You'll be outside and we'll bring you in," Coxx says as the girls wiggle into their Vampirella suits. "What are your do's and don'ts?" Hans asks. Slapping, spitting and "putting things in my butt" are pretty much out, and there's a quick instructional how-to-pull-hair moment. "No fisting unless I'm getting paid for it," Janson says. "I'm a Viking, do whatever," Hans asserts. "I like milking prostates, but you guys are no fun," Karma Rx mock-pouts.
The girls go outside, the guys are placed in the middle of the room, in a circle, facing out. "Is it gonna be like musical chairs?" somebody asks. The guys stroke themselves through their shorts. "A few minutes. We'll tell you when," Coxxx says.
The cameras roll. The girls strut in, kneel in front of the guys in the circle, start predatorily teasing, like cats with mice. The first pair of shorts goes down and the air fills with the sounds of sucking and slurping. And moaning. Summer and White cooperatively double-team Caballo as a throaty "Oh yeah!" echoes through the room.
They've been waiting all day for this.
