Industry veteran Angelique has been named the exclusive broker for new adult production company, Pulpo. She will be in charge of sales for all formats, including VOD and international broadcasts.
Angelique, who also owns Angel Pictures, told AVN.com that she was very impressed by the production value of Pulpo's debut release, Black Worm.
"I took a look at the movie before making my decision, and it was amazing," said Angelique. "It had such a Quentin Tarantino style to it...it really merged mainstream with adult."
In Black Worm, Capo, a gangster from Northern Mexico, plots against one of his associates with the help of his girlfriend Carla. His plan, however, takes some wrong turns, and it's up to Carla to come to his aid.
Angelique plans to pursue cable deals with mainstream networks like HBO and Cinemax. "Black Worm has such a mainstream quality to it [and] I think it needs to be put out there in those markets. I've also already spoken with some international clients that are very interested [in the movie]."
Pulpo, which means "octopus" in Spanish, is run by co-owners Mako and Andrés. "They're great people," said Angelique of the two owners, "and I'm so impressed by the stuff they're doing." She also mentioned her excitement with production company's next offering, Dolores.
Black Worm stars Lorena Sanchez, Alektra Blue, Mikayla, Tony De Sergio, Van Damage, Justice Young.
