BurningAngel.com owner Joanna Angel, who stars in VCA's latest release Joanna's Angels, got tattooed live on-air on Indie 103.1 FM on Tuesday.
Dicky Barrett (of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones) hosted Joanna on his top-rated weekday morning show, The Mighty Morning Show. Lucky from Goodtime Charlie's Tattooland in Anaheim was the artist.
Dicky doesn't normally have porn stars on his music-oriented program, but made an exception for Joanna because of her strong punk rock roots.
Dutch alternative band Voicst stopped by (with producer Theo Van Rock, formerly of the Rollins Band) to serenade her with their anthem, "Porn."
BurningAngel.com is celebrating the release of Joanna's Angeles with a party at Beauty Bar tonight.
Industry-only admission is from 8 to 10 p.m. General admission is from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
There will be movie screenings all night long as well as a special dance performance by Angel and appearances by fellow cast members such as Sabrina Sparx, Kylee Kross, Katrina Kraven and Pinky Lee. RSVP to [email protected] by 4 p.m. for VIP admittance.
