Peter Horea, President of Coquette International, announced yesterday that the company’s distributor for Spain and Portugal, American Passion, will exhibit Coquette’s main collection during the Madrid International Fashion Week (SIMM) from September 2 - 5, 2005.
This will be American Passion’s second time exhibiting at SIMM, and president Pedro Villagra reports that last year’s show offered real opportunities for developing existing client relationships and also allowed the company to establish a new base of clients.
“This show has been good to us in the past and we expect the same results at the September show. It will allow us to offer a preview of the Coquette range, which is always very popular, and it also aligns us alongside other high-end lingerie brands," Villagra said.
Horea anxiously awaits the show and is excited that American Passion will feature Coquette’s main collection.
“Several of our pieces from the main range will do well at SIMM, I know this for sure. SIMM demands the finest quality in its exhibitors and Coquette is the very best in the industry. I can think of several pieces that will do well at this show, like our lace over satin corset [style 393], which has been our number-one bestseller over the past several months. It is sophisticated and tailored to perfection. Coupled with the lace over satin skirt [style 893], this piece screams elegance,” Horea gushed.
He added that he expects many of Coquette’s corsets and bustiers to do well. “These are our most elegant pieces, they are of course sexy, but they are designed with such care and precision that they are so much more than just lingerie pieces.”
As for Coquette’s Holiday collection, Horea is beside himself and thanks Coquette’s design team for designing such beautiful pieces this year. “Holiday is like no other - the holiday-themed details are simple and subtle. The simple touches really make the difference in this year’s collection and we can’t wait to share the new range with our clients at the Madrid International Fashion Week,” he said.
Villagra reiterated the very same sentiments. “We know that Coquette’s main line will be well received by our current and new clients.
