American Hardcore Fined for Sunset Billboard

American Hardcore has been fined for displaying an explicit billboard ad on Sunset Boulevard in an attempt to promote its release of David Lord's Sack the Wetback.

Two weeks ago, the gonzo company paid for billboard space to promote the new title, which features a topless Chanel Chavez on the box cover, only to be ordered to remove it and pay a $3,000 fine for disorderly conduct and public nudity.

"The goal was to get at least a half a day on Sunset Boulevard so that we could photograph the giant box cover for an ad and poster," said American Hardcore co-owner T.J. DiReda. "We got flooded with angry calls, but also got some positive well wishers with regard to the aggressive promotion."

DiReda added, "We have quite a few surprises in store for the consumer and the AEE show will be one platform that we plan on delivering even more hit and runs."
