LOS ANGELES—Adult studio Alt Erotic sets out to revive the pre-pandemic revelry of in-person red carpet adult industry events with the bash "Internet Killed the Pornstar: But We Are Bringing Them Back!," taking place Friday, August 13 at the company’s private studio in Tarzana. The event will kick off at 8:00 p.m.
The tattoo-focused studio is organizing the party to celebrate the release of all its latest titles as well as its recent porn award accolades.
“With ‘Internet Killed the Pornstar,’ our goal is to bring back the glitz and glamour of old-school events that the internet stole from us,” said Ivan, Alt Erotic’s CEO/creative director, “and embrace the little things that make these events exciting: backdrops, media people, the red carpet, photo booth and guests dressing to impress.”
Ivan added that tattoo artists will be on hand creating Friday the 13th tattoos. There will be a red carpet for photos, food and beverages, and lots more.
“When porn went to being primarily available on the internet, it oversaturated the market with content and performers,” says performer and Alt Erotic chief brand officer Misha Montana. “Cam sites, clip stores and other similar platforms opened the door for ordinary citizens to play porn stars. That crushed the iconic image of what a porn star was; the glamorous, sexy, superstar actress. We want to bring back the authentic version of what porn stars were (and are meant to be) with an alternative twist.”
